I had purchased this scale because I couldn't find any particular scale with great reviews. Out of all the ones I have looked at, it seemed to be that "inaccurate" to the specific pound was the issue for most scales. Which quite honestly is hilarious, because this is actually what they're supposed to be used for, weighing things accurately.
I purchased this one, and it does what it's supposed to do. So, I'm happy with it.

By the time I opened the box & realized the measurements are completely inaccurate, it was too late to return it.
I guess I received a defective scale.
I would not recommend this scale and I wish I could send it back.

Found this scale to be extremely accurate and stable aside from one thing. It seems to read about 4 lbs. high on the first weighing. I have learned to ignore the first reading. The subsequent readings are accurate to doctors scales and consistent to 0.2 lb. tolerances. I had trouble loading the initial weight into just entered profile data, but learned over experimentation and prompt tech support from Ozeri to step on the scale and get weighed with bare feet immediately after entering a profile while the scale reads 0.0, for the weight to come up on that profile and the four weight parameters to be calculated and displayed. The manual fails to mention this key part of initializing a profile after its parameters are entered.
This scale measured my muscle mass as below acceptable 36.8% for a 50 year old male of 204 lbs, and 6 foot 1 inches high. An alarming 5.0 bone density measurement caused a call to a dietician for a prescription of vitaman D/calcium. The dietition also expressed distrust of this scale or any other using electrical biometric method to accurately measure bone density compared to extremely expensive hospital diagnostic equipment that she feels is necessary for that measurement.
Final thoughts: beautiful scale, highly accurate weight, body fat, hydration and muscle mass measurements. Bone mass measurement highly questionable considering my reading. I do not suffer from osteoporosis. This scale is worth the price alone for me to get me back into some strength training and getting needed prescription for my bones.
